BET celebrates the start of ‘Father’s Day’ weekend with a slew of hip-hop’s most famous dads including Swizz Beatz, Ice-T, and Nas.
Nasir stopped by “106 & Park” to speak about making music for his daughter Destiny, his involvement in the documentary Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap, and his upcoming album Life Is Good, due July 17.
Nas also explained the thinking behind the album’s cover art, which features Kelis’ green wedding dress…
“This right here shows the ending of one chapter, but what’s the next chapter gonna be?…Life is good regardless. You gotta keep your head up and keep it moving.”
