Yup T.I is back on the big screen!

After playing roles in box office hits such as Takers and American Gangster, the rapper-turned-actor is trying his hand at comedy!

Tip has joined the cast of Universal Pictures’ Identity Thief. He will play a bounty hunter in the film, starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy.

Of course that’s not all T.I has up his sleeve he will also co-star in Kelsey Grammer’s drama series Boss for Starz and is shooting the second season of his VH1 docu-series “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” which premieres September 3.

The King of the South will also be releasing his eighth album Trouble Man, which is due September 4.
